Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) is used to promote deep relaxation, soothe sore muscles, and relieve stress. In float therapy, massive amounts of salt are used to create zero-gravity buoyancy, but even in a home bath, the high magnesium content is highly valued for self-care routines.

The amount of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) needed for Dreampod models varies significantly based on the specific model and its capacity, with amounts often ranging from 200 kilograms to over 700 kilograms.

Larger units, such as the Dreampod V2, V-Max, Sport Float require a greater, higher-volume amount of salt (700kg purchase recommended) to reach the optimal density compared to smaller models like the Home Float series (400kg purchase recommended). For Mineral Soaker 200kg purchase is recommended.

Each Dreampod model has a visible recommendation regarding the purchase of Epsom salt on the bottom of Dreampod product detailed information & description. You can however always buy extra Epsom salt for later use so you dont run out of stock when you need it the most. This product is subject to an additional shipping charge.

Your Lifestyle with Dreampod floatation therapy

It is beyond luxury - The bold claims are based on research and people´s experience

Accelerated Athletic Recovery

By relieving the body of gravity, it speeds up the removal of lactic acid and reduces cortisol and adrenaline levels, aiding in recovery after intense physical activity

Total Weightlessness & Relaxation

Experience the magic of weightlessness in water mixed with Epsom salt
allowing your body to float effortlessly, removing all pressure on joints, muscles and the spine.

Muscle Relaxation & Pain Relief

The magnesium-rich water helps reduce inflammation, alleviate muscle tension, and soothe aches, making it highly effective for treating chronic pain, back pain, and arthritis. The high salt content can leave skin feeling soft and rejuvenated

Improved Circulation

The warmth of the water (roughly 93.5°F, or skin temperature) causes blood vessels to dilate, improving circulation and helping the body distribute oxygen and nutrients more efficiently

Mental Clarity & Stress Reduction

Users often experience a significant drop in anxiety, depression, and stress-related pain, leading to improved mood and reduced mental fatigue

Spiritual/Meditative Experience

The lack of stimulation can cause some to experience a "mother's womb" effect, feeling deeply secure, peaceful, or even having moments of profound insight.

Your Lifestyle with Cold Plunge

Some benefits claimed by researchers

Mental Well-being

A Major Mood and Alertness Boost: The shock of the cold triggers a massive release of neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine. This leaves you feeling incredibly energized, sharp, and brings on a natural "high" that can last for hours.

Physical Recovery & Pain

Reduces exercise-induced muscle damage and alleviates pain by restricting blood flow and slowing nerve signals.
Cold water causes your blood vessels to constrict. When you get out, they dilate, flushing out metabolic waste and significantly reducing muscle soreness and inflammation after a tough workout.

Metabolic Boost & Longevity

Stimulates brown adipose tissue to burn energy for heat, enhancing metabolism and blood sugar regulation. Cold plunge
force your body to work harder to maintain its core temperature while burning extra calories.
